Hi 💙 Thank you for downloading NearHero! We’re super excited and grateful for you to join our community. If you didn’t already know, NearHero is a small startup founded by 2 friends from Miami, FL. We’re a small business dedicated to creating a community of Heroes. We want every Hero to get as many Gigs as possibles, so we’ve created a list of how to create the best profile to attract clients.
Use Your First Name: NearHero is a community, so share your first name on your profile. You don’t have to put your last name. Including your first name automatically adds a human touch and lets users know they’re talking to a real person.
Add a Selfie. First impressions matter and smiling faces garner trust. Upload a good selfie of yourself as your profile picture so clients can put a face to who they’re talking to.
Create a Relevant Bio. We’re so used to social media bios being personal, that we’ve seen many users talk about themselves more than their profession in bios. This is why they tend to get overlooked. A good NearHero bio includes information about your profession. Here are some examples of good bios:
Content Creator: Hi my name is Melissa and I’m a Content Creator specializing in product photography for health and beauty products for e-commerce stores such as Shopify and Amazon.
Personal Chef: My name is Christopher, I am a Personal Chef and Caterer. I specialize in meal prep for athletes and active busy individuals. I’ve worked in 2 restaurant kitchens and have catered over 50 events this year.
Furniture Assembly: Hi I’m George. I’m available to pickup and assemble furniture. I have a pickup truck, dollies, and tools.
Add Portfolio Pictures: Your profile portfolio is there to show off your work, upload anything your proud of. If you’re a model, upload headshots and photos from your favorite shoot. Content Creators can post pictures of product photography, model shots, screenshots of TikToks and Reels. Chefs and Caterers can post pictures of their favorite dishes, Movers and Furntiure Assembly providers can post pictures of their trucks and furniture they’ve worked on.
