About us

NearHero started with a simple premise. Everyone needs a side job. And when it comes to an emergency, anyone can help anyone. The neighbor next door can be the hero you need.

We launched in 2016. The iOS app was popular, and it was genuinely useful. Then our dev department hit its limits. We decided to hold, and to relaunch. That relaunch is now, in 2026.

The mission is the same. Help nearby. Give people a side gig. And now more than ever, a little extra help is well needed.

We hope to bring you success.
